Privacy Policy

Lomodogs Dot Nigeria Limited ("ArtistrySynk") is the data controller for the information described here. This policy explains what we actually collect, why, how long we keep it and what you can control.

We follow privacy by design: we do not collect information simply because it might be useful later.

1. Information you give us

2. Information generated by using the service

Swipes, likes and matches — to create matches and power recommendations.
Presence and last-seen time — to show whether a match is online, if you allow it.
Approximate coordinates — only if you enable proximity discovery, and used solely to calculate distance. We never show your precise coordinates to other users or publish them. Other users see your city and country.
Device push tokens — to send push notifications you have enabled.
Session records (device, browser, IP, timestamps) — so you can see and revoke your logins, and to detect abuse.
Diagnostic and error records — to fix crashes and detect attacks.
Moderation records — reports, decisions and appeals, to keep the platform safe.

We do not use advertising identifiers, we do not run advertising networks, and we do not sell your personal information.

3. Why we may process your information (lawful bases)

Performance of our contract with you — running your account, profile, discovery, messaging, projects and subscriptions.
Your consent — marketing emails, optional location precision, optional personalisation. You can withdraw consent at any time.
Our legitimate interests — safety, moderation, fraud and abuse prevention, security, service improvement.
Legal obligation — records we must keep, and responses to lawful requests.

4. Who can see your information

You control this in Settings → Privacy & Data:

Profile visibility — public (indexable on the web), ArtistrySynk members, connections only, or private.
Discoverability — whether you appear in discovery, search and recommendations.
Location — off, city-level, or precise-for-proximity-only.
Messaging — who may start a conversation with you. Cold messaging is not allowed on ArtistrySynk: a conversation requires a mutual match.

Your email address is never shown to other users.

5. Service providers we use

We use a small number of processors, each only for the purpose stated:

Lovable Cloud (Supabase) — database, authentication, file storage.
Resend — transactional and notification email.
Paystack — subscription payments. Card details are handled by Paystack; we never see or store them.
Web push / VAPID and Apple/Google push services — delivering notifications.
Lovable AI Gateway (Google Gemini models) — the optional Synk AI assistant and match scoring.
hCaptcha — bot protection on the contact form when activity looks suspicious.

Some of these providers process data outside Nigeria. Where that happens we rely on the provider's contractual data-protection commitments.

6. AI features

The Synk AI assistant and match scoring send only the information needed for the task — for example the profile fields, roles and skills relevant to a suggestion, or the prompt you type into the assistant. Private messages and private creative work are not sent to AI services for model training. You can avoid AI features by not using them, and you can turn off AI-assisted personalisation in Settings → Privacy & Data.

7. How long we keep information

Account data — while your account exists.
Deleted accounts — deletion is confirmed by email, then held for a 7-day grace period so you can undo it, then permanently removed.
Messages — while the conversation exists; removed with your account.
Moderation and safety records — kept after deletion where necessary to enforce bans and protect other users.
Security and audit records — kept for a limited period for security investigation.
Payment records — kept as long as required for financial and tax purposes.

8. Your rights

You can request access, correction, deletion, a copy of your data, restriction of processing, or object to processing. Use Settings → Privacy & Data → Your Data, or email privacy@artistrysynk.app. See the Data Protection & Privacy Rights Notice for details and timelines.

9. Security

Data is encrypted in transit. Access to personal data is restricted by row-level database security and role-based server-side checks. Sensitive keys are never present in the app you download. Administrative access to personal data is limited by role and recorded in an audit log.

10. Children

ArtistrySynk is for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child is using the platform, contact support@artistrysynk.app.

11. Changes

We version this policy and keep previous versions available. Material changes are notified in the app.
