Data Protection & Privacy Rights Notice

This notice explains your data protection rights and how to use them. It sits alongside the Privacy Policy.

Our baseline is the Nigeria Data Protection Act, and we apply comparable standards for users elsewhere.
Your rights
- Access — a copy of the personal data we hold about you, and an explanation of how it is used.
- Correction — fix data that is inaccurate or incomplete. Most fields you can edit yourself in your profile and settings.
- Deletion — delete your account and personal data, subject to the retention exceptions in the Account Deletion Policy.
- Portability / export — a machine-readable copy of the data you provided.
- Restriction — ask us to limit processing while a concern is being resolved.
- Objection — object to processing based on our legitimate interests.
- Withdraw consent — for anything based on consent, such as marketing emails, location precision, or personalisation.
- Complain — to us first, and to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission or your local supervisory authority.
How to make a request
The fastest route is Settings → Privacy & Data → Your Data, where you can view your data categories, export your data, submit a privacy request, and delete your account.
You can also email privacy@artistrysynk.app. Please tell us which right you are exercising and the email address on your account.
Verification
To protect you, we verify that a request comes from the account holder before acting on it. For signed-in requests this is your session. For emailed requests we may ask you to confirm from your account email address.
Timelines
We acknowledge requests promptly and aim to complete them within 30 days. If a request is complex we will tell you and explain the delay. We do not charge for the first request within a reasonable period.
Automated decisions
ArtistrySynk uses recommendation and match scoring to suggest creatives who may suit you. These suggestions affect ordering and discovery only; they do not make decisions with legal effect about you. You can turn off personalisation in Settings → Privacy & Data.
No certification claims
ArtistrySynk describes its actual practices in these documents. We do not claim any regulatory certification, approval or audit outcome that we have not obtained.
