Copyright & Intellectual Property Policy

You own your work

Creatives keep ownership of everything they upload to ArtistrySynk. We receive only the limited licence needed to host and display your work as part of the service, as described in the Terms of Service. Uploading to ArtistrySynk does not transfer ownership to us.

Only upload what you may

Upload work you created, or that you have permission to share. If a track, film, photograph, design or codebase was a collaboration, make sure you have the right to publish it and credit your collaborators.

Reporting infringement

If you believe content on ArtistrySynk infringes your rights, submit a copyright claim through Help & Support → Copyright complaint. Please include:

Your name and, if applicable, the rights holder you represent.
Contact information we can reply to.
A description of the protected work.
The exact location of the infringing content on ArtistrySynk (profile, portfolio item, post or file).
Why you believe it infringes.
Any supporting evidence.
A statement that the information is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them.

Knowingly false claims are a breach of the Acceptable Use Policy.

How we handle claims

Submitted → under review → (more information required, if needed) → action taken or rejected → appealable.

We review claims by hand. We do not automatically delete legitimate creative work because someone pressed a button. Where a claim is substantiated we may remove or restrict the content and notify the uploader.

Counter-notice

If your content was removed and you believe the claim was wrong, you may appeal through the moderation appeal process, explaining your rights in the work.

Repeat infringement

We record substantiated claims against an account. Accounts with repeated substantiated infringement may be suspended or permanently banned.

Trade marks

Do not use another party's name, logo or brand in a way that suggests endorsement or affiliation you do not have.
